Raymond M. Page, 67, of Millstadt, IL, born September 18, 1957, in East St. Louis, died peacefully Saturday April 19, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family.
Everyone who knew Ray knew he was one of a kind and he was always ready with his witty comments. He was the guy who would help with absolutely any project because he always knew how. Ray had a lifelong electrical contracting career, which started with his father's business, Page Electric, and ended with Current, Inc.
Aside from being a hard worker, Ray knew how to have fun. His love for the water dominated. Boating was the original love with fishing close behind. Anything with wheels and motors kept him busy. He was an avid racing fan, especially Indy cars. He spent as much of the winters in Florida as possible where he was able to enjoy so many of his favorite pastimes... including a few beers. He loved life, he loved music, and he loved his grandkids! Sharing all his hobbies with the kids was very important to him, and he relished doing it. Ray's love for life and generous nature were shared with all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. and Bernice F., nee Rolek, Page; and a brother-in-law, Robyn Blaha.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jody Page, nee Hoeffken, whom he married on September 6, 1986; two daughters, Gwendolyn (Jacob) Rodriguez and Bernadette (Douglas) Kinder; four grandchildren, Chad Betlach, Cora Kinder, Jett Rodriguez, and Cal Rodriguez; three brothers, Gregory (Pat) Page, Mark (Karen) Page, and Lawrence (Jenny) Page; two sisters, Marilyn Blaha, and Marcia (Matt) Wever; and many dear nieces and nephews; great nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be made for the grandchildren's college funds. Please make checks payable to Jody Page. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.
